Troubleshooting: Loading, Saving, or Browser Performance Issue
Use this guide to troubleshoot if pages feel slow or your work isn’t saving.
1. Check Your Internet Connection
- Make sure your connection is stable.
- If using a VPN, disconnect and try again.
2. Clear Cache, Cookies, and History
Quick Option: Use the built-in Reset & Reload shortcut.
-
Click your username in the top right and open the dropdown.
-
Select Reset and Reload.
If Reset and Reload does not work, clear your browsing history, cache, and cookies manually:
- Press Ctrl + H (Windows) or Command + Y (Mac).
- Go to Delete Browsing History > Advanced.
- Set the time range to All Time.
- Leave Passwords unchecked so saved logins remain.
- Click Delete Data.
3. Update Your Browser
-
Click the menu (⋮) in the top right corner of your browser
-
Go to Help > About [Browser](found near the bottom, e.g., About Chrome or About Edge)
-
The About page shows your version and checks for updates automatically.
-
If an update is available, it will install — restart your browser to finish.
4. Try a Different Browser
- Open the site in another browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge) to see if the issue continues.
5. Disable Extensions
- Turn off active extensions or add-ons. Some may slow down loading or interfere with saving.
6. Review Security or Monitoring Software
- If your device is managed by IT, ask them to check for apps that may scan or delay access.
- On personal devices, check if security software could be affecting performance.
