Importing Service Provider Contacts via Spreadsheet to SphereLOS
This guide walks you through importing service providers (e.g., title/settlement, appraisal, hazard insurance, investors) into the system using the Contacts import tool. It explains how to download and complete the template, review role types, add required details, and upload your file.
Step 1 – Download the Template
- Go to Contacts in the top navigation bar.
- Click Import Contacts → Download Template.
- The file will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Step 2 – Review Role Types
- Open the template and click the Available Role Types tab.
- Enter Roles in the Contacts tab exactly as listed (case-sensitive, no spaces).
- Example: HazardInsurance ✅ not Hazard Insurance ❌
- Example: HazardInsurance ✅ not Hazard Insurance ❌
Step 3 – Add Your Contacts
In the Contacts tab of the template, complete these required fields:
- Name (Company Name)
- Short Name (if not available, enter the Company Name)
- Role (must match the Available Role Types tab)
- Point of Contact
- Email
- Address( Street, City, State, ZipCode)
Step 4 – Import the File
- Go back to Contacts → Import Contacts.
- Upload your completed template by Drag & Drop or selecting it from your computer.
- Choose Company (shared — visible to everyone within your company) or Personal (visible only to you).
- Click Import and wait for the success message.
💡 Tip: Try importing a small sample file first to confirm mapping before uploading the full list.
Step 5 – After the Import
- Processing may take some time.
- Avoid re-uploading while it’s in progress, as this may create duplicates.
