How to Update an Existing Loan File Using Import

Update a loan by importing supported file types: FNM 3.2, MISMO 3.4, or MISMO 3.6 MCD. The system refreshes loan data and saves a backup automatically.

ℹ️ Note: Access to this feature may depend on your role, loan status, or permission settings. If the option isn’t available, please check with your system admin.


  1. In the loan file, click the Actions button (may appear as a gear icon).

  2. Select Update Loan. The Update Loan pop-up will appear.

  3. The File Format defaults to MISMO 3.4.

    • Use the dropdown to choose FNM 3.2 or MISMO 3.6 MCD if needed.

  4. The Type defaults to Update Loan.

    • You can also choose Add/Merge Borrower from the dropdown.

  5. Drag and drop the file(s) into the upload box, or click Select File(s) to browse and upload from your computer. Review the file to confirm it’s the correct one.

  6. Click Import, then click Confirm to proceed.

  7. A success message will appear. A backup file of the original loan data is saved automatically to your Downloads folder.

  8. The system will update the loan file with the latest data from the imported file.
