Registering a Loan with Kind Lending in SphereLOS: Step-by-Step

Tip: Before proceeding, make sure your company system admin has the correct lender added in Settings>Lenders:
  1.  Kind Lending (Integration) – for auto-registration.
  2.  KIND LENDING, LLC (Kind Lending) – for assigning the lender to the file without registration.

 

  1. Within the file, navigate to Overview > Wholesale Lender Information.

  2. Click Edit, then click the dropdown and select Kind Lending from the list.

  3. Once the Register With Lender button is checked, a screen will appear showing the fees. After reviewing the fees, click Save to complete the registration.

  4. A loan number and a View button will then appear. Click View to access Kind Lending’s login page and continue the loan process. 

Registration is automatic. Once Kind Lending is selected as the lender, the system will automatically send the file for registration.

If you see an error stating you're not partnered with Kind Lending, it means the NMLS numbers in the file aren't being recognized. Please follow the link on the prompt to be registered with them. Both the company and LO on the file need to be registered with KIND. 

Please Note:

This integration supports registration only. Documents, statuses, fees, and return data from Kind Lending do not sync with the system.

After registration, a link to Kind Lending’s login portal will appear in the Wholesale Lender Information section. You can complete the loan process directly on Kind Lending’s portal after signing in.

Removing Kind Lending from the Wholesale Lender Information section does not cancel the registration with Kind Lending.


Assigning KIND LENDING, LLC (Kind Lending) Without Auto-Registering the File

If you’re not ready to register but still need to assign Kind Lending as the lender on a file, System Admins first need to go to Settings > Lenders and add KIND LENDING, LLC (Kind Lending) and your AE to the account (if not already added).

Once added, users can select KIND LENDING, LLC within the loan file without auto-registering the file.
