How to Merge a Co-Borrower File into the Primary Borrower's File in SphereLOS

Part 1 – Export the Co-Borrower File

1. From the SphereLOS Dashboard or Pipeline, search for the co-borrower’s loan file you want to merge into the primary borrower’s file.
2. Click the loan number to open the co-borrower’s file.
3. Click Actions (gear icon ⚙️) in the top-right corner.
   
   • Note: This may display as “Actions” or only the gear icon, depending on your screen size or zoom level.
     
4. Select Export Loan.
5. Before exporting, check the File Format (default is MISMO 3.4 FNM) to ensure it matches the format you will use during the import.
6. Click Export. The file will be saved to your computer’s Downloads folder.
   
   

Part 2 – Merge into the Primary Borrower File

1. Open the primary borrower’s loan file.
2. Click Actions (gear icon ⚙️) in the top-right corner.
   
   • Note: This may display as “Actions” or only the gear icon, depending on your screen size or zoom level.
     
3. Select Update Loan.
4. Under Type, choose Add/Merge Borrowers.
5. Drag and drop the previously exported file(s), or click to browse and select the file(s) from your computer.
6. Select the borrower(s) you want to add or merge.
7. Click Import.
   
   • 💡 Tip: When you click Import, the system automatically creates a backup copy of the loan before applying the changes.

     8. When prompted with “Do you want to update loan data using the selected file?                 This operation can’t be undone”, click Confirm to proceed.

    9. Then, go to the Borrowers section to verify co-borrower(s) were successfully                       added or merged.
