How do I enter AUS credentials?

A step-by-step guide for, system admins, on how to enter AUS credentials.

  • AUS credentials for Fannie and Freddie are company credentials, and one set will function for all company users. Users do not need their own AUS credentials. 
  • Use DO only when setting up Fannie Mae; usernames contain letters and numbers, are 8 characters, and are to be entered in all lowercase. 
  • Freddie Mac requires system-2-system credentials obtained from Freddie. These are separate from your login credentials. The password is the Authentication Password provided by Freddie Mac. 
  1. Locate the Settings section in the top banner and click on the section to access it. 
  2. Click on the tile named Actions.
  3. Click the blue pencil for AUS. 
  4. Click on the Contacts tab. 
  5. Click the checkbox for Fannie Mae (DO) and or Freddie Mac. DO NOT check DU or AUS will return errors.
  6. Enter the username and password for both if using both or the AUS of choice.

    If you are activating AUS for the first time follow steps 7-10 below.
  7. Click Save in the top right. 
  8. Click on the blue pencil again for AUS. 
  9. Click Activate Action in the top right. 
  10. Click Save Changes.
