How to Assign Borrower Tasks Using Loan Conditions in SphereLOS

This guide walks you through assigning conditions to a borrower so they appear as tasks in the Borrower Portal. Borrowers can view task details and upload documents directly to their loan file

ℹ️ Note: Access to this feature may depend on your role, loan status, or permission settings. If the option isn’t available, please check with your system admin.


Steps to Add Conditions 

1. Open the loan file.

2. Go to UW/Conditions.


Option A: Add a Condition Manually
  1. Click Add Condition.
  2. Select a Category and Type.
  3. In the Description field, enter clear instructions for the borrower.
  4. Set Responsible Party to Borrower.
  5. Click Save.


Option B: Add Conditions from a Batch (System Preset)
  1. Click Add Batch Conditions.
  2. Choose a batch from the list.
  3. Select the desired conditions:
    • Use checkboxes to select individually.
    • Or click Check All / Uncheck All.
  4. Click Save.
  5. After adding, click the Edit (pencil icon) next to each condition.
  6. Set Responsible Party to Borrower.
  7. Click Save.

⚠️ Note: Batch conditions are predefined by the system and cannot be edited.


What Happens Next

  • The borrower receives an email with a View Loan Conditions button that opens the Tasks Section in the Borrower Portal (SpherePOS)
  • Borrowers can view tasks and click Submit to upload documents directly to their loan file.
  • Once the borrower uploads a document, the team assigned to the file will receive an email notification with a View Documents button. Clicking this button opens the loan file in SphereLOS, where the document can be found under UW/Conditions or in the Documents section.

Note: Uploaded documents may take time to sync. If they don’t appear immediately in the LOS, wait a little while before refreshing.
