How to add Company NMLS numbers?
A step-by-step guide for system admins to enter their company's NMLS license numbers.
- Decide if you wish to enforce licensing.
- If yes, select the appropriate option
- If no, leave the default option to Not Required
- The licensing module is designed to stop LOs from trying to originate in a state they or your company is not licensed in.
- The From date should be when the company first obtained the license. If licensing is enforced and the application taken date is before the From Date the system will through the hard stop even if the file is a state licensed to do business.
- If you decide not to enforce licensing we still recommend entering the states and NMLS numbers as they are needed for loan submissions and will appear on any documents that require the company NMLS numbers on them.
- Click Settings in the top banner
- Click Manage Company in the top right
- Click the Licenses tab
- If enforcing licensing make your selection from the drop-down
- Click the Add State drop-down.
- Choose the state from the list
- Enter the License No
- Enter the From Date
- Enter the Expiration Date
- Repeat for all states.
